Here's Monday's Hero: Kristin Browde

I generally stay away from TikTok for the same reason I don’t keep Fiddle Faddle in my pantry. But a friend suggested I take a look at Kristen Browde’s TikTok in which the lawyer speaks to the data she’s accrued on sex crimes against minors, in which she not-so-shockingly reveals that, for example, there are a great many more offenders who have “religious employment” than transgender people or drag queens. To be exact, 730 of offenders are those with religious employment as opposed to a mere 5 trans folk, and 1 drag queen.

She’s a badass. An out trans woman who lawyers in Miami, Florida, who culls and sorts the data like a boss, and lays it out clearly on her Who’s Making News website?

On which she states, “I encourage you to fact check the data.”
